Meet The Doctor

Brandt Feuerstein MD, FACS

Originally from northern New Jersey, Dr. Brandt Feuerstein received all of his education in greater Philadelphia. A graduate of Haverford College, he also studied at the University of Pennsylvania prior to pursuing his medical education at Jefferson Medical College. Dr. Feuerstein completed all of his surgical training in the Jefferson Health System and Lankenau Hospital. A highly skilled general surgeon, Dr. Feuerstein has been practicing in Dover since 2001.

In 2006, with the advent of newer, minimally invasive techniques to treat venous disease, Dr. Feuerstein founded The Vein Center at Eden Hill. Since that time, while still practicing general surgery, he has successfully treated thousands of patients with vein diseases ranging from unsightly spider veins to swollen legs and chronic ulcerations.

In addition to his surgical practice, Dr. Feuerstein has served in numerous administrative roles. A past Chief of Surgery, he is currently Medical Director of Patient Safety at Kent General Hospital, where he also holds leadership roles on the Medical Executive Committee and Performance Improvement Committee. He serves as Vice President and Board Member of The Delaware Surgery Center.

In recent years, Dr. Feuerstein has committed himself to volunteer surgical care. He is currently a Board Member at Esperança, a non-profit health and development organization, where he leads medical missions providing indigent surgical care and critical medical supplies to communities in South and Central America.
